 A computer monitor is an output device that displays information.   

       Computer monitors were formerly known as visual display units (VDU). The display monitors like CRT and PLASMA.LCD and OLED are a gradual evolution. Monitors usually have an aspect ratio of 4:3, 5:4, 16:10 16:9, and so on.

     Display resolution is the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed natively. For a given display size, maximum resolution is limited by dot pitch or DPI.display, typically measured in pixels per inch. Luminance, Contrast ratio, Refresh rate, and Response time like things that matter to the user. 

    LCD monitors are popular, cheaper, and widely available. However, OLED monitors are becoming popular in the newer generation due to their display quality.

 OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) is a newer technology that offers several advantages over LCD:

 * Perfect Black Levels: OLED pixels can turn off completely, resulting in true black. This leads to:

   * Infinite Contrast Ratio: For stunning visuals with deep blacks and vibrant colors.

   * Improved HDR: High Dynamic Range content looks more realistic.

 * Wide Viewing Angles: Colors remain accurate and consistent no matter where you're sitting.

 * Faster Response Times: Ideal for gaming and movies.

However, OLED monitors have some drawbacks:

 * Burn-in: Static images can leave a faint, permanent mark on the screen.

 * Higher Cost: OLED monitors are generally more expensive than LCDs.

 * Potential for Image Retention: Temporary image persistence can occur.

Conclusion:
